About Us
Using marketing to create opportunities; our experience started in 1994 in Real Estate Finance. Working in the beginning with homes and ending in 2007 providing our clients with the best financing options on all types of Commercial Real Estate. Funding sources were in the $1.0-$15.0 million range from Banks, Life Insurance Companies, and Wall Street Conduits.
In 2006 we began working in the Property Management Business in Hawaii. Starting at first on our own Properties and growing from there to provide these services to our clients. We have participated in hundreds of real estate transactions and now use these tools to facilitate the best overall return on Investment.

We hope that at first glance you will see the artistic “AHP” acronym for Akamai Hawaii Properties. The artistic flair; the endangered Sheawater or A`o (in Hawaiian) is the centerpiece and horizontal part of the H. You also note the color of this portion to be the “Electric Blue” color we’ve only seen in the waters of our treasured NaPali Coast; the water has energy and looks “Alive” here. The reddish brown of the letters below are set to be in harmony with our coveted and highly fertile Red Dirt of our land or `Aina.
The deeper meaning here is that if you’ve had the opportunity to see it, the A`o are amazing surfers. The have the skills to assess the conditions surrounding them and find the best wave with the best air current to send them down the line at a rapid clip with little or no effort.
They are also prized fisherman. With consistent focus, they scan the area for their next meal. When the getting’s good, they know when to stay and make the most of it. When the meals are looking thin, they know that it’s time to get out and find the next spot. We find our day to day operations to be in similar step.
